St. Paul’s House
Completed in Winter 2023, St. Paul’s House is a mixed-use alteration, refurbishment and extension project accommodating a total of 17 flats and 2 ground floor commercial units on Walton Street in Oxford’s historic Jericho district.
Proposals give a much-needed new lease of life to an existing 1970s building by means of a rooftop and side extension, as well as a sensitive internal refurbishment. A new landscaped courtyard podium provides communal amenity for new residents.
The scheme achieves net zero carbon in operation. Conservation and innovative re-use of the existing building was critical to the sustainability agenda for the project. We also employed passive design measures to reduce energy demand, backed up by on-site renewables.
